WBPSC Miscellaneous Service Mains Exam Syllabus
Aspirants who qualify in the Preliminary exams shall be summoned to appear for the Final exam of the WBPSC Miscellaneous Services Examination 2019. Final Examination will have Conventional types of questions. There will be three papers, the papers and the syllabus covered are:-
- First Paper -English
- 2nd Paper -Bengali or Hindi or Urdu or Nepali or Santali
- 3rd Paper – General Studies and Arithmetic
English Paper: English Paper will have questions on the following topics.
- Drafting of a report from points or materials given
- Translation from Bengali or Hindi or Urdu or Nepali or Santali to English.
- Summary or Precis of a prose passage.
- Correct usage of words, sentence correction, use of common phrases, synonyms and antonyms, etc.
Bengali or Hindi or Urdu or Nepali or Santali Paper: This paper will have questions on the undermentioned topics.
- Drafting of a report from points or materials given
- Translation from English to Bengali or Hindi or Urdu or Nepali or Santali
- Summary or Precis of a prose passage.
- Grammar on the Language Paper.
General Studies and Arithmetic Paper: This paper will have the same topics as mentioned in the preliminary examination syllabus. Only the questions will be conventional type questions on the same subjects.
PSCWB Miscellaneous Service Exam Personality Test
The Final Stage of the Miscellaneous Recruitment 2019 is the Personality Test. Candidates who are shortlisted based on the performance on Stage II shall have to appear for personality test for final selection. Questions will be asked by the Interview Board to test the mental strength and the personality which shall be required to perform the related duties as an officer selected through WB Miscellaneous Recruitment Examination 2019.
