Through this recruitment, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) or Vizag Steel invites young, dynamic talented individuals to join as “Junior Trainees and OCM Trainee” in various branches of the Organisation. JT & OCT Recruited will have to undergo training for a period of twenty-four (24) months. Details of Posts & Compensation of the VIZAG Steel Recruitment 2018 is as under-
- Post Name: Junior Trainee & Operator cum Mechanic Trainees (OCM Trainee)
Compensation Details: During the First Year of Training, Junior Trainees will be paid a monthly stipend of `10,700/- (consolidated) and a monthly stipend of `12,200/- (consolidated) during the remaining period of training. While on Confirmation Junior Trainees will be appointed as Technician with a minimum Basic Pay of `16,800 in the pay scale (Pre-revised) of `16,800- 3%-24,110/- (S-3 Grade)

Vizag Steel Junior Trainee Recruitment – Eligibility Information
The eligibility of the interested candidates with respect to age is calculated as on 1st July 2018. While the Educational Qualification should have been achieved before the closing date. More details are depicted in the table below-

- For Meritorious Sports Person (MSP) Relaxation of 5 Years from the age mentioned for respective categories
- For ExServicemen (ESM) – Age relaxation will be as per applicable rules
- For domiciled in J&K State between 1.1.1980 & 31.12.1989 Relaxation of 5 Years in upper age limit.
Educational Qualification
Interested applicants should have completed Matric / SSC with full-time ITI / Diploma in Engineering in the Trades/ Disciplines as given below.
Required Percentage of Marks to Apply:
- 60% marks in regular ITI / Diploma in Engineering for Gen/OBC-NCL candidates
- 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates in all subjects of all semesters/years.
Mandatory Qualification: Matric / SSC + Full-time ITI/Diploma in Engineering.
