Courses Offered at Tangla College
Tangla College imparts education at both Higher Secondary (10+2) and Under Graduate (10+2+3) levels in all the 3 (three) streams – Arts, Commerce and Science. The college has introduced PG Courses in Arts, Commerce, M. Sc. Maths, and PGDCA under Gauhati University Institute of Distance and Open Learning (GUIDOL) from the Academic Session 2015-16. A separate Prospectus is issued from the GUIDOL for the PG Courses.
Under Graduate Courses
From the Academic Session 2022-23, affiliation of the college is shifted from Gauhati University to Bodoland University, Kokrajhar and Tangla College will be following the new syllabus offered by the Bodoland University in the undergraduate level. The UG Courses offered by the college is as follows –
- Under Graduate Programmes in Arts, Commerce and Science (6 semester course, both Major & General Courses).
- Bachelor of Computer Application (6 semester course).
Higher Secondary Courses
The duration of the HS course is 2 (two) years. The course is divided into two parts i.e. HS First Year and HS Final Year. At the end of the First Year, students will have to appear in the Higher Secondary First Year Annual Examination conducted by the College as per the guidelines of the AHSEC.

All candidates willing to take admission in Tangla College will have to fill up their Admission Forms Online. The Online Admission Registration Form Fill up portal will be accessible on the college website www.tanglacollege.ac.in. After Online form fill up, the applicants should get one printed copy of Admission Registration Form. This form along with self-attested Xerox copies of all necessary documents will have to be submitted to the College Office on the stipulated dates. Tangla College Merit List / Selection List 2022
After the Online Admission Form Fill up, the Tangla College Merit List 2022 will be prepared by the admission committee on the basis of total marks secured by candidates. After the verification of documents, subject combinations, etc. a list of selected candidates will be published in the college website as well as in the College Notice Board separately for each category (Honours and Regular) of courses and streams (Arts, Commerce and Science). Candidates who get selection for Honours Course in any discipline will not be considered again in the Regular Course category if they remain absent on the verification date of Honours Course.
Selected candidates will have to pay Admission fees Online by searching their names Stream-wise and Course-wise (Honours /Regular) in the college admission web-portal.
