Interested applicants should visit the Taki Govt College home page (www.tgc.ac.in) and go to “online ADMISSION UG” Thereafter candidates following the instruction should upload the necessary information and remit the Application Fee if applicable online and take the print out of the receipt. Please note that the receipt will have two parts 1 for the Office, and other for the applicant. Taki Government College Merit List 2023
Merit Point Calculation: The merit point calculation is based on the directives of the Department of Higher Education, Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal and West Bengal State University. It is notified in college Notice-Board and also on the College website.
The Merit-Point calculation will be calculated as under –
| For admission in the Honours course | Marks obtained in top four subjects (every 100 marks) excluding compulsory Environmental Studies Plus marks in the subject a candidate applying for Honours in H.S. or equivalent (10+2) examination shall be considered to ascertain the merit point of a candidate. |
| For General course | Marks obtained in top Four subjects (every 100 marks) excluding compulsory Environmental studies in H.S. or equivalent (10+2) examination shall be considered to ascertain the merit point of a candidate |
Publishing of Taki Government College Merit List 2023
Taki Government College Provisional Merit List will be available on June 16. Note that this list will be provisional, not final. All the applicants should check the Final Merit List. Also, if there is any discrepancy in the provisional merit list, then applicants should inform it via email at admission- [email protected]. The last Date and Time for information of any sort of discrepancy is July 2023.
