SSC CGL Examination 2023 (CGLE) Notification Details
Staff Selection Commission will conduct the yearly CGL or Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2023 for filling up Group “B” and Group “C” posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. For this year, SSC has started accepting the online application form 3rd April 2023 and the last date to accept the application will be 3rd May 2023 till 5 pm. Educational Qualification: Candidates should have the essential Educational Qualifications as on 1st Jan 2022. Post wise educational qualification is as under-
For Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer | Candidates should have completed at least a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute to apply. |
Junior Statistical Officer | Candidates should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level: or Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level. |

SSC CGL Exam 2023 Physical Standard Details
In addition to educational qualification, Physical standards for the post of Inspector (Central Excise/ Examiner/ Preventive Officer), CBI, NIA, Inspector & Sub-Inspector in CBN is also an important eligibility condition as per SSC CGL 2023 Notification. Details of this are as under–

- SSC CGL 2023 Tier-II will have Paper I, II & III
- Questions will be objective in nature
- The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Language and Comprehension module.
- Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts.
- Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the MOSPI and Statistical Investigator Grade-II in the office of Registrar General of India (M/o Home Affairs) and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for these Posts.
- Paper-III will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper-III i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
- It will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify all the sections of Paper-I.
- There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I and of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-II and Paper-III.
- Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I i.e. Computer Knowledge Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature.
- DEST will be mandatory for all the posts; however, it will be qualifying in nature.
SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination 2023 – How to Apply
SSC will accept the online application from 3rd April to 3rd May 2023 through the official website of SSC i.e, ssconline.nic.in. During the application, submission candidates shall have to upload the scanned photo and signature image to complete the application.
