Admission Eligibility Conditions at Sadhan Chandra College
Willing candidates with a 12th Pass Examination can apply for admission to this college for General Courses. However, a candidate willing to take the Honours Course in a subject must have obtained:
- A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject. Or
- 55% marks in the subject or the related subject at the previous qualifying examination. Or
- 50% marks in the aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subject in his /her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied.
However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Cast or Scheduled Tribe with a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate or 40% marks in the subject or related subjects at the HS Level Exam can also take up the Honors Course Admission.

Sadhan Chandra Mahavidyalaya Merit List 2023 Calculation
Admission to this college is through merit only and the candidates who rank high in the Sadhan Chandra Mahavidyalaya Merit List 2020 shall be eligible for admission. Sadhan Chandra College will prepare the Merit List 2023 on the basis of Aggregate Marks. For admission to the Honours Course, aggregate marks shall be calculated by adding the marks in top-four subjects (Excluding Environmental Education / Studies ). Thus on the basis of aggregate marks, the Merit List will be published on the college website.
Please note that if “Environmental Science” is studied as an elective of 100 marks at HS Level, it may be taken into account for the purpose of determining the aggregate marks.
