Interested candidates shall have to apply online for admission to the desired course at the College. Admission to the Course will be according to Merit List subject wise.

Honors	Honors Merit list will be prepared by taking the Sum total of best scored five subjects + Marks obtained in the concerned subject or a related subject.
Pass	The candidate willing to be considered for the General course she will have to submit a separate Admission form specified for the purpose.

Ranaghat College UG Admission Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria as per the University of Kalyani Rules for admission to the first semester Regular Honours Courses are:

For Honours Admission	50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject opted for Honours OR 45% marks in the aggregate and 55% marks in the subject opted for Honours in the qualifying examination. OR 55% marks in aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subject or any related subject in H.S. for which Hons. is opted.
For General Degree Admission	10+2 Passed or equivalent

Please Note: Candidates belonging to SC and ST category will get a relaxation of 5% marks in case of i), ii) and iii) above.
