The announcement of the OFB Trade Apprentice is for the various Units spread across the Country. The Willing candidates had the option to select the Factories for which he/she want to appear for. Since the number of vacancies is large, so undoubtedly this will bring a lot of opportunities for the youths.
Selection Criteria for OFB Trade Apprentice
The OFB Trade Apprentice Selection will be done on the basis of the merit list. The OFB Trade Apprentice Merit List will be prepared separately for the NON-ITI and EX-ITI category. Further, the OFB Trade Apprentice Merit list for the NON-ITI category will be prepared factory-wise on the basis of the overall percentage of marks in the Madhyamik or matriculation (Class X standard or equivalent), aggregate in all subjects and irrespective of Board.
Whereas for OFB Trade Apprentice Ex-ITI category, the OFB Trade Apprentice Merit List will be prepared factory-wise and trade-wise, on the basis of a simple average of the percentage of marks both in Matriculation and ITI (minimum 50% in aggregate in each).
Calculation of OFB Trade Apprentice Merit List 2020
The Ordnance Factory Recruiting Centre will calculate the Merit List on the basis of calculation as under –
| For Ex-ITI Category | On the basis of the simple average of the percentage of marks both in Matriculation and ITI. For calculation of the percentage of matriculation, marks obtained by the candidates in all subjects will be taken to account and for calculation of the percentage of ITI marks, marks mentioned in provisional /final certificate will be taken. |
| For Non-ITI Category | On the basis of the overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik or matriculation. For calculation, the total marks in the 10th Examination will be considered. |
How to check the 56th Batch OFB Trade Apprentice Merit List?
The Ordnance Factory Recruiting Centre on behalf of OFB shall upload the selected candidates list against the factories. Candidates can check the result status and also the factory for which he/she is selected. The combined OFB Trade Apprentice Resultt 2020 will be available within 1 to 2 months of the closing date of application.
