Nayagram Govt College Merit List Calculation Method
The admission to UG programmes offered by Nayagam Govt College is through merit. Actually, the candidates application will be shortlisted according to merit ranks. Thus, the Merit List Calculation Method is shared as under –
Merit Point= X+Y
Where X = 10 percent of marks in aggregate in the 10+2 level exam-taking 5 best marks among all the subjects excluding the marks of Environmental Studies.
And Y= percentage of marks in the applied subject as Honours. If that subject is not studied, the
percentage of marks of related subject will be considered.
Please note that if more than one candidate scores the same merit point, preference will be given to higher Y; in this way, if more than one candidate has the same score in Y, preference will be given to higher X.
