ICLES MJ College Eligibility Criteria for Admission
The students who are interested to apply for BA, BCOM, BMS & BSC Honours and General Courses must fulfill the eligibility conditions as per the college admission rules –
For Honours/Core Course
A candidate may apply for Honours/Core Course if he/she has secured at least 55% in the aggregate or 50% in the aggregate with 60% in subject. (For SC/ST applicants eligibility criteria is 50% in the aggregate or 45% in the aggregate with 60% in subject.)
For General/Program course
To apply for General or Program Course, the candidate should have secured only qualifying marks in 10+2 standard i.e. 30% marks in aggregate.
Motilal Jhunjhunwala College Merit List 2022 Calculation Method
The Motilal Jhunjhunwala College will strictly follow the admission guidelines as laid down by the Mumbai University. The Admission to all Honours Courses will be based strictly on merit. Thus ICLES MJ College will prepare a merit list and shall release it for the candidates applied. The Merit shall be calculated as per the following formula –
- Merit = 2S+T/6
Where, T = marks obtained in English+marks obtained in the subject opted for Honours + best marks of other two subjects [excluding EVS, the subject opted for Honours and English]. & S = marks obtained in the subject opted for Honours.
Moreover, if the candidate does not have the specific subject opted for Honours in his/her previous Course, then the procedure for Merit Calculation will be as follows –
- Merit=T1/4
Where T1 = marks obtained in English+best of other three subjects excluding EVS. (This procedure of merit list calculation is also applicable in case of General Course)
