The Admission to TDC shall be purely on the basis of merit. Thus, the applcants need not have to appear for any admission test. Only, the academic score of the candidates in 10+2 is the primary factor of selection. Apart from this, the Margherita College will prepare the Merit List as per the provision for reservation of seats as per Govt. and College rules as under :
- Scheduled Caste (S.C) – 7%
- Scheduled Tribes, Plain (S.T.P) – 10%
- S.T. Hills (S.T.H) – 5%
- Other Backward class – 15%
