Selection Process of Kolkata Police Constable / Lady Constable Post

Kolkata Police Constable Preliminary Exam Scheme
Applicants provisionally considered eligible will have to appear in an MCQ based Preliminary Written Exam which is qualifying in nature. This means that the marks obtained by a candidate in the preliminary written test will not be considered for preparing final merit list. Questions in this exam will be from the following subjects –

Kolkata Police Constable PMT Pattern

Kolkata Police Constable Interview Scheme
The Interview Stage will carry 15 marks. Based on the merit in the Final Written Exam, a limited number of candidates will be called for Interview. In the Interview, the board will test the general awareness and suitability of the candidate for public service. Moreover, the candidates’ ability to speak in Bengali will also be tested in his/her Interview.
