JNUEE 2021: Jawaharlal Nehru University for admission to the courses offered by it conducts an all India Level Entrance Test, this test is known as JNUEE or Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination. Admission to JNU is based on the performance of candidates of this examination. General Eligibility Criteria for Admission @ JNU

The eligibility Criteria and Subject wise Qualifications for admission to JNU or Jawaharlal Nehru University is as follows –

Age Limit CriteriaThe Minimum Age limit for B.A. (Hons.) Programme is 17 years as on 1 October 2021. There is no age bar for any other programme.

How to Apply for JNUEE 2021 Registration ?

The willing candidates may apply for JNUEE 2021 in “Online” Mode ONLY by accessing the website https://jnuexams.nta.nic.in, or www.jnu.ac.in . The Application Form in other than online mode would not be accepted, in any case. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate for the same level of programme. More than one application i.e. Multiple application forms submitted by a candidate will be summarily rejected. To apply, the Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin. Also, the Candidates must ensure that e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the given e-mail address or SMS on given mobile number only.

Particulars to be filled in the JNUEE Online Application Form

Before beginning the process of filling the Online Application Form, the applicants should keep the following information ready with them.

  • Copy of Board/ University Certificate having Name and Date of Birth.
  • Father Name and Mother Name.
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Type of Identification – Bank A/c Number/ Passport Number/ Ration Card/ Aadhar Card/Election ID/Other Govt ID
  • Qualifying Degree Certificate or last semester marksheet
  • Mailing Address as well as Permanent Address with Pin Code.
  • Four cities as choice of Exam Centres.
  • Category Certificate, if applicable
  • e-mail address and Mobile Number of candidates.
  • Scanned images in JPG/JPEG format only of following dimensions –
Candidate’s scanned PhotographFile size must be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
Candidate’s scanned Signature in running handFile size must be between 4 kb to 30 kb.

Steps to Apply Online for JNUEE 2021

The applicants should download the Information Bulletin and ensure your eligibility. Thereafter, they should follow the steps given below to Apply Online: –

Step1Apply for Online Registration using unique EmailId and MobileNo.
Step2Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No.
Step3Upload scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (file size: 10 kb – 200 kb) and Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
Step4Pay fee using SBI/ Syndicate/Paytm Payment Gateway through DebitCard/ CreditCard/ Net Banking/UPI and keep proof of fee paid.

Important Points on JNUEE 2021

  1. The candidates should ensure their eligibility to appear in the test.
  2. The Candidates should fill their complete postal address with PIN Code for further correspondence.
  3. The e-mail address and Mobile Number provided is active till the end of admission process.
  4. Online Application Form cannot be withdrawn once it is submitted successfully.
  5. If a candidate submits more than one Application Form,the candidature is likely to be cancelled.
  6. Request for change in any particular in the Application Form shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
