The candidate willing to apply for any of the vacancies should be a Domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir in accordance with Govt of India Notifications.
Selection Criteria for JKSSB SI Commercial Tax & Other Posts
The selection list for JKSSB SI Commercial Tax / Compiler & Other Posts shall be prepared purely on the basis of merit obtained in written/skill test(if any). JKSSB shall not conduct any Viva-voce for these posts during the selection.

Further, the applicants need to have a valid Email ID and Mobile Number for registering and creating login credentials. During the application, the applicants need to upload the images of recent photograph and signature of the following dimensions-
- Size of the photograph (passport size) (Max size–1 MB) (Ht. X Wd. = 4.5 X 3.5 Cms.).
- Size of the signature (Max size–1 MB) (Ht. X Wd. = 4.5 X 3.5 Cms.).
