Farakka College Merit List Calculation Criteria
Admission process at Farakka College will be strictly online and on the basis of merit. The Merit list for Admission to UG Courses will be prepared uniformly on the basis of the following criteria:
| In case of Honours courses | Aggregate (as explained below) plus the marks obtained in the subject in which he/she intends to take up honours or related subject. However, students who has 55% marks in aggregate will not get the benefit of ‘related subject’. |
| In case of Programme /General course | Merit list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate. |
- Aggregate means the sum of marks of best scored five (05) subjects excluding compulsory Environmental Education/ Environmental Science/ Environmental Studies.
- While calculating such aggregate, full marks of each such subject will be scaled down to 100 wherever needed.
