DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2023 Overview
Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra had invited online application from eligible students for Admission to Full Time Technical Diploma Courses (First Year of Post SSC Diploma in Engineering and Technology And First Year of Post HSC Diploma in Pharmacy, Surface Coating Technology and Hotel Management & Catering Technology And Direct Second Year of Post SSC Diploma in Engineering and Technology) for the Academic Year 2023-24. Interested Candidates had submitted the online application for the selection towards admission to following courses as mentioned above. Now, post the application period, the DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2023 is released to let the applicants know their selection status.

DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2023 Calculation Process
All the eligible Candidates who have submitted Application Form on or before the last date specified for the submission of Application Form for Admission through CAP, shall be assigned a merit number. The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained at qualifying examination, or any other criterion as discussed below. DTE Maharashtra for admission to Polytechnics does not conduct any sort of entrance test rather the selection for admission is based on merit as specified in the Official Notification. | For Admission to Post HSC Diploma Course in Surface Coating Technology | The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together at HSC. |
| For Admission to First Year Pharmacy | The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and higher marks of Mathematics or Biology in HSC. |
| First Year Hotel Management and Catering Technology | The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of Percentage of marks obtained at HSC. |
DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2023 – Tie Breaking Rules
While the Authority calculates the DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2023, there may be a tie between the merit score of two or more applicants. In that case, the relative merit of candidates shall be resolved in the following order of preference and the methodology as specified below –

What’s Next after DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2023 ?
DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2023 is released through two phases – Provisional and Final. In the Provisional Phase, the candidates can raise an objection (if any) by logging to the portal. The Authority will validate the same and shall incorporate that in the final phase of the merit list. After the Final merit List release, the candidates will be allotted the seats at different institutions across Maharashtra State through counselling stage. For this the candidates need to login to the portal and comply with the formalities.
