Important Dates for CUSAT CAT 2021 Registration
The candidates who wish admissions for all programmes other than Ph.D / All Diploma Courses in CUSAT should apply for CAT 2021 through the University portal. Applications in any other method will not be accepted. The important dates in this CUSAT CAT 2021 Registration regard is as follows –

How to Apply Online for CUSAT 2021 CAT Registration ?
Time needed: 10 minutes.
The application for the CUSAT CAT 2021 is online at the University Portal at www.admissions.cusat.ac.in. The Online Registration for Academic Admission 2021‐22 is a multi‐step process. But before starting the online registration, the applicants should read the CUSAT CAT – 2021 prospectus carefully. The steps which involves the following stages are discussed below –
- STEP 1 – Registration
Click “NEW CANDIDATE REGISTRATION” button and submit details. Candidates should enter the necessary details and submit the data. Thereafter, the candidates should open the activation link (obtained in the email inbox), to activate the user account.
- STEP 2 – Personal Details and Reservation
In this stage, the applicant should login to the portal and then read the instructions carefully. Then, the candidates should click Start Registration button, fill all personal details properly.
- STEP 3 – Photo and Signature
Candidates in this stage should Upload a recent passport size photograph of not larger than 500 kb. The dimensions of the photo should be 150 px X 180 px.
Also they should upload the scanned image of signature, in landscape orientation, with a file size not greater than 100 kb and dimensions of 130 px X 57 px.
The image format can be .png or .jpg or .jpeg - STEP 4 – Course Selection
Now, comes the selection of the course. Applicants should carefully select the programme or combination of programmes from the dropdown list.
- STEP 5 – Short Preview
After submitting course details, a short preview will be available. Candidate should check the short preview carefully. In case any change is needed, he/she should go to the required page, make corrections and save changes.
(Please note that after confirming short preview, editing is not possible) - STEP 6 – Payment
After confirming the preview, the applicant should process the online payment of application fee through all Credit / Debit Cards or Net banking of almost all Banks.
- STEP 7 – Centre selection
After successful completion of payment, the list of available centres will be on screen. The applicant should select one of the test centres where seats are available.
- STEP 8 – Print out the confirmation page
The Last step is the Application Print out. After Centre Selection a final preview will be available. The applicant should wait for confirmation from the University. It may take at least two working days. After the approval candidate can login to the portal and check the Application status with the application print out for reference.

About CUSAT CAT 2021
Cochin University of Science & Technology was initially constituted as University of Cochin through an Act of the Government of Kerala on 10th July 1971. The University of Cochin was re‐constituted as Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in February 1986. CUSAT CAT is the short name of Cochin University of Science & Technology – Common Admission Test for the admission to the (All PG and UG Programmes except Ph.D and Diploma Programmes). Candidates who are qualified in this Entrance Test get the chance to get admitted in to various courses offered by the University.
