Well, First of all in this LDA Recruitment, Calcutta HC Recruitment Section through the Notice has informed that the entire Selction Process will be through Three Stages namely –

  1. First Stage – OMR Based Prelims Exam

  2. 2nd Stage – OMR Based Mains Exam

  3. 3rd Stage – Interview.

The Prelims Exam will act as shorlisting of the Candidates for the Second Stage. The marks scored in the Prelims Exam will not be counted in the Final Selection List preparation. Stage I Qualified Candidates who rank higher in the Cut Off marks in the Second Stage will be called for Interview. Finally on the Combined result of Interview and Stage II will be the deciding factor of Selection. Calcutta HC LDA Exam Pattern – In Detail

As already mentioned above that the First Stage is a OMR Based Prelims Exam. So let us check the Exam Pattern in details.

Preliminary Screening Test (Stage-I):

In this Exam, there shall be negative marking of one (1) mark for each wrong answer whereas the question papers shall be available in English language only.

Competitive Written Test (Stage-II):

Candidates securing forty per cent (40%) of the marks in each of the three (3) subjects and fifty per cent (50%) in the aggregate, shall be considered to have passed the Competitive Written Test ( Stage II ).
