Bihar Police ESI Preliminary Written Exam Pattern
The Preliminary Examination for Bihar Police ESI Recruitment shall be for 200 marks. The Examination is an OMR based MCQ Type Selection Test. Candidates who appear for the Preliminary Examination shall have to score at least 30 % marks to qualify. Further, the Commission shall shortlist the candidates equal to a total of 20 times of vacancies for the Main Written Examination. A tabular view of the Preliminary Examination is as under –

BPSSC ESI Mains Examination Scheme
The Mains Examination is the next stage of the Selection Process. The candidates who are shortlisted in the Preliminary Examination shall be able to write the BPSSC ESI Mains Exam. The Mains Examination shall contain two papers – Paper I & II. Both of the Papers shall carry total marks individually. The total number of candidates qualified for the next stage will be 6 times the vacancies. More details of the Papers are as follows –

The Personality Test shall be for 30 Marks. This is the last stage of Selection post which the final selection list of the candidates will be published. Based on the Score of the Mains Examination and Interview Score.
