Bethune College is the first women’s college in India.The foundation of this college dates back to 1849 when this college was established by John Elliot Drinkwater Bethune. Currently, the College is affiliated to Calcutta University and it is one of the topmost Colleges in India. Regarding UG Courses Admission 2022-23, only female candidates are eligible to apply and The college offers only Honours course at UG level. No General degree course is offered.
