Assam HS Teacher Eligibility Test 2020 Notification

As per Assam Higher Secondary TET 2020 Notification, all of such candidates who pass the Assam HS TET will be awarded a certificate. This certificate shall be valid for a maximum period of 7 (Seven) years from the date of issue. Moreover, as per NCTE Guidelines, the aspirants who want to apply for a post-graduate school teacher at HS level in Assam must have qualified the TET and holds an Assam HS TET Certificate. Eligibility for Assam Higher Secondary TET Application

The applicants possessing the following eligibility criteria as under can apply for appearing in Assam HS TET 2020 –

• Must be a citizen of India and permanent resident of Assam.
• He/she must have completed Post-Graduation with at least 50 % marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from NCTE recognized institutions.
• He/she must not be less than 21 years of age.

Exam Overview of Assam HS TET 2020

The Assam HS TET shall be for 200 marks with two papers (Paper-I & Paper-II) of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each one of them carrying equal marks. The subject areas broadly are as follows –

Qualifying marks in Assam HS TET

To qualify in Assam Higher Secondary TET Examination, the candidate must score at least 60% marks in each paper. However, 5% relaxation in marks will be given for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PH candidates.

To submit the application, the willing candidates should apply much before the closing date and not wait till the last date. 4. Now click on the Online Application of Assam HS TET 2020.
5. A web page will be available on the screen.
6. Now, create the Registration ID & Password initially.
7. For this upload the necessary documents.
8. On receiving the Registration / Login ID and Password, re-login to the page.
9. Now, enter the educational details, experience etc.
10. Remit the application fees.
11. Finally, re-check & submit the application.
